Transportation Bureau, LLC. operates as a Business Credit Reporting Service and commercial information platform for the freight transportation industry across the United States, Mexico, and North America.
This Privacy Notice applies to all personal and commercial data collected, processed, stored, and transmitted by Transportation Bureau, LLC. in connection with:

• Your registration as a Member, Subscriber, or Guest User.
• Any information you submit, post, or transmit through the Site, including Commercial Reports, Business Profiles, ratings, and payment history.
• Information collected about your company by other Members or third parties through our platform.
• Communications between you and Transportation Bureau, LLC.
This Privacy Notice does not apply to third-party websites linked from our Site. Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies.
3.1 Business and Commercial Information:
When you register as a Member or use our Services, we collect information about your business, including:
• Trade name, legal entity name, and business registration numbers.
• Business address(es), telephone numbers, and website URL.
• Names and contact information of executive personnel and authorized representatives.
• Business background, years in operation, fleet size, and industry classification.
• Payment history, accounts receivable information, and trade experience data submitted by you or reported by other Members.
• Bill of Lading numbers, Carta Porte information, rate confirmation agreements, contracts, and related freight documentation.
• Ratings, reviews, and Commercial Reports submitted by you or about your company by other Members.
This commercial information becomes part of the BDT commercial database and may be accessed by entities and individuals that utilize our Services. Transportation Bureau, LLC. will not voluntarily disclose financial statements or the source of accounts receivable information without your permission, except as required by law or court order.
3.2 Account Registration Information:
When you create an account, we collect:
• Name, email address, and username.
• Password (stored in encrypted form).
• Subscription tier and billing information.
• IP address and device information at the time of registration.
3.3 Payment and Billing Information:
When you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Transportation Bureau, LLC. does not store complete credit card numbers. We receive and retain:
• Transaction confirmation and subscription status.
• Partial card information (last four digits, card type) provided by Stripe for account management purposes.
• Billing name and address associated with the payment method.
By using our payment services, you are also subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.
3.4 Usage and Technical Information:
We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Site, including:
• IP address and approximate geographic location (city/country level).

• Pages visited, time spent on pages, and navigation patterns.

3.5 Communications:
We collect and retain records of communications between you and Transportation Bureau, LLC., including emails, support tickets, and dispute submissions. 4.2 Membership Management: To process registrations, manage subscriptions, process payments, and communicate with Members about their accounts, renewals, and service updates.
4.3 Commercial Information Platform: To compile, aggregate, and publish commercial information including payment history, business ratings, and delinquency reports that constitute the core business intelligence service of our platform. This is the primary and essential purpose of our service.
4.4 Credit Reporting to Third-Party Agencies: To transmit Commercial Reports and business information to commercial credit information agencies, including but not limited to Dun & Bradstreet (operating in Mexico, United States, Canada, and Guatemala), for the purpose of maintaining cross-border commercial credit records in the freight transportation industry.
4.5 Security and Fraud Prevention: To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, unauthorized access, abuse, or violations of our Terms and Conditions.
4.6 Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, and governmental requests, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4.7 Service Communications: To send service announcements, administrative messages, updates to these Terms, and other communications that are part of the membership and from which you cannot opt out while maintaining an active account.
4.8 Analytics and Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve the functionality, content, and user experience of the Site and our Services.
IMPORTANT: READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.
As a Business Credit Reporting Service, Transportation Bureau, LLC. operates under principles consistent with the commercial credit reporting industry in the United States. The following terms apply specifically to commercial information:
5.1 Business Information Is Public: Commercial information about businesses — including company names, addresses, contact information, payment history, and ratings — is treated as commercial information of public interest, not as sensitive personal data, consistent with United States commercial practices and the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
5.2 Seven-Year Retention: Commercial Reports, payment history, and delinquency records may be retained and published on the Site for a period of up to seven (7) years from the date of initial reporting, consistent with commercial credit reporting industry standards in the United States.
5.3 Transmission to Credit Agencies: By accepting our Terms and Conditions and using our Services, you expressly consent to Transportation Bureau, LLC. transmitting commercial information about your company to Dun & Bradstreet and other commercial credit agencies in Mexico, United States, Canada, and Guatemala.
5.4 User-Submitted Reports: Commercial Reports, ratings, and payment history submitted by other Members about your company represent commercial opinions and factual reports based on direct commercial experience. These constitute legitimate business intelligence and enjoy qualified privilege as good-faith commercial reporting.
Transportation Bureau, LLC. may share your information in the following circumstances:
6.1 With Other Members and Users: Business information, Commercial Reports, Business Profiles, and ratings are shared with registered Members and users of the Site as part of the core functionality of our commercial information platform.
6.2 With Commercial Credit Agencies: We may share commercial information with Dun & Bradstreet, Equifax Business, Experian Business, and other commercial credit information agencies, consistent with our role as a Business Credit Reporting Service.
6.3 With Service Providers: We share information with trusted third-party service providers that assist us in operating our platform, including: Stripe, Inc. (payment processing), SendGrid/Twilio (email communications), hosting and cloud infrastructure providers, and security and monitoring services. These providers are contractually required to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
6.4 For Legal Compliance: We may disclose information in response to valid legal process, court orders, subpoenas, or governmental requests, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Transportation Bureau, LLC., our Members, or the public.
6.5 Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
6.6 With Your Consent: We may share information with third parties when you have provided explicit consent for such sharing.

We retain different categories of data for different periods:
Account Information: Retained for the duration of your active account, plus three (3) years after account closure for administrative, legal, and audit purposes.
Commercial Reports and Business Profiles: Retained for up to seven (7) years from the date of initial reporting, consistent with commercial credit reporting industry standards.
Payment and Billing Records: Retained for seven (7) years from the date of transaction for accounting, tax, and legal compliance purposes.
Communications and Dispute Records: Retained for five (5) years from the date of communication or dispute resolution.
Technical and Usage Data: Retained for up to two (2) years for security, analytics, and service improvement purposes.
Comments: Comments and associated metadata are retained indefinitely to facilitate comment moderation and recognition of returning commenters.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may retain information for longer periods when required by applicable law, court order, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Transportation Bureau, LLC. implements industry-standard security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our security practices include:
• Encryption of data in transit using SSL/TLS protocols.
• Password hashing and secure credential storage.
• Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel.
• Regular security assessments and monitoring.

11.2 Right of Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data we hold about you. All registered users can see and edit their personal profile information at any time (except username).
11.3 Right of Deletion: You may request deletion of personal data we hold about you. This right does not apply to: (a) Commercial Reports and business information that constitute legitimate commercial credit reporting records; (b) data we are required to retain for legal, administrative, or security purposes; (c) information protected by our legitimate interests as a Business Credit Reporting Service.
11.4 Right to Data Portability: You may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you in a commonly used format.
11.5 Right to Opt Out of Commercial Reports: If you believe a Commercial Report about your company contains inaccurate information, you may dispute it following the procedure set forth in our Terms and Conditions of Service, Section 18.
11.6 CCPA Rights (California Residents): California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Transportation Bureau, LLC. does not sell personal data to third-party advertisers.
11.7 Mexican ARCO Rights: Subscribers who are residents of Mexico may also refer to the Spanish version of this Privacy Notice for information about rights under Mexico’s LFPDPPP. However, the exercise of ARCO rights is subject to the limitation that commercial information published on this platform as part of a Business Credit Reporting Service may not be subject to deletion under applicable United States law governing this platform.
To exercise any of these rights, please submit a written request to servicio.clientes@burodeltransporte.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Request.” We will respond within 30 business days. We may require identity verification before processing your request.
Transportation Bureau, LLC. is incorporated and operated in the United States. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, including but not limited to where Stripe and our hosting infrastructure are located.
By using our Services, you expressly consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. This includes transfers from Mexico to the United States, which you expressly authorize by accepting our Terms and Conditions and using our Services.
Our Services are intended exclusively for commercial users aged 18 and over. Transportation Bureau, LLC. does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will promptly delete such information.
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. This Privacy Notice applies solely to information collected by Transportation Bureau, LLC. on our Site. This Privacy Notice shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from this Privacy Notice shall be subject to the dispute resolution provisions set forth in the Transportation Bureau, LLC. Terms and Conditions of Service (BDTTOS), including the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware and the binding arbitration provisions therein.
This Privacy Notice may be translated into other languages for convenience, including Spanish. However, the English version is the sole binding and governing version. In the event of any inconsistency, discrepancy, or ambiguity between this English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail in its entirety.

2.3 Datos de Pago y Facturación:
El procesamiento de pagos es realizado por Stripe, Inc. Transportation Bureau, LLC. no almacena números completos de tarjeta de crédito. Conservamos: confirmación de transacción, últimos cuatro dígitos de la tarjeta, tipo de tarjeta, y nombre y domicilio de facturación. En caso de que no desee que sus datos sean tratados para las finalidades secundarias, puede manifestarlo enviando un correo electrónico a servicio.clientes@burodeltransporte.com. Lo anterior no afectará las finalidades necesarias para la prestación del servicio.

5.5 Transferencias Internacionales: Al utilizar nuestros Servicios, usted acepta expresamente la transferencia de su información a los Estados Unidos y otros países donde operan nuestros proveedores de servicios, los cuales pueden tener leyes de protección de datos distintas a las de su país de residencia.

LIMITACIÓN IMPORTANTE: En virtud de que Transportation Bureau, LLC. opera como un Servicio de Reportes de Crédito Comercial constituido conforme a las leyes del Estado de Delaware, Estados Unidos, el ejercicio de los derechos ARCO respecto a Reportes Comerciales publicados en la plataforma está sujeto a las limitaciones establecidas en la ley estadounidense aplicable, que puede no contemplar el mismo alcance que la LFPDPPP mexicana para información de carácter comercial. Toda solicitud será evaluada conforme a la ley de Delaware.
